The 1^st ERA ARD Call on “Bioenergy”

Research partners of five projects are at present negotiating contracts with their respective funding agencies. It is expected that the projects will then complete a Consortium Agreement and initiate their projects in April or May.

This call is the 1^st Coordinated Call under the ERA ARD Net.

The major objective of the call is to contribute to exploring the opportunities and threats that bioenergy production poses for the rural poor in terms of food security, poverty alleviation and rural development and to investigate how bioenergy production influences land use and affects natural resources.
