This is the 4^th ERA ARD Bioenergy newsletter.

The deadline for application for the Bioenergy Call “Bioenergy – an opportunity or threat to the rural poor” is very close now.

In the “Call Text” you will be able to read:
“The lead research organisation of the consortium (the Research Coordinator) should send an electronic version of the full proposal, on behalf of the consortium, as one package to the Call Secretariat by the deadline, which is 12.00 Friday 31^st October 2008.”

There have been some enquiries as to whether this is 12.00 midday or 12.00 midnight. It was intended that it should be midday, but midnight will be accepted.

When you have submitted your application you might like to send and e-mail to me and indicate that a submission has been made. Early next week I will send a confirmation to all Research Consortium Coordinators confirming receipt of applications.
