This is the 6^th ERA ARD Bioenergy newsletter.

Call:
The Bioenergy Call process is still on schedule. In the following you can read a brief status.

The CCSC considers the call to have been a success based on the 17 good quality proposals, with a large number of partners involved including 60 ERA-ARD partners and 93 partners from the DAC list countries. The total project budget requested was over 5m.€ for the committed funds of just over 2m.€. Many partners also contributed with their own funding or contributions in kind.

The proposals have all been through the evaluation process including a scientific evaluation by 3 independent peer reviewers.

Subsequently, the evaluation process was completed when the Coordinated Call Steering Committee (CCSC) meet in Brussels on 9^th and 10^th December 2008.

The CCSC will send their recommendations for funding to the national funding agencies who will make the final funding decision.

All Research Consortia will be notified of the result of the decision, hopefully by the end of January.
